AIT Warranty

Every AIT tool is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and not to subsequent owners, transferees or users. It covers defects in parts and workmanship. To make a warranty claim, the customer must send their tool (at their expense) to AIT for analysis and include a copy of their sales receipt. If determined that the tool is covered under this warranty, we will repair the tool and ship it to the customer at our expense. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. This Warranty does not apply where:  Repairs have been made or attempted by a person other than an authorized American International Tool service personnel. The tool has been abused or improperly maintained. Misuse is evident for overloading the tool beyond its rated capacity or use of the tool after partial failure. In no event shall AIT be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages from the sale or use of this product. This disclaimer applies both during and after the term of this warranty. The foregoing obligation is AIT’s sole liability under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other legal rights, which vary from state to state.

The warranty period for each tool is as follows:

6 Amp Paintshaver Pro - 2 years 

6 Amp Orbital Sandervac Pro - 2 years 

9 Amp  Paintshaver Pro - 5 years 

9 Amp  Orbital Sandervac Pro - 5 years 

12 Amp  Paintshaver Pro - Lifetime

12 Amp Orbital Sandervac Pro - Lifetime 

12 Amp Marineshaver Pro – Lifetime

120 Volt Gelpeel Pro - 3 years

240 Volt Marineshaver Pro - 3 years

240 Volt Gelpeel Pro - 3 years

240 Volt Orbital Sandervac Pro – 3 years
